This year’s concert will take place on Sunday 24th June at the Tippett Hall, St. Piran’s School, Maidenhead at 3.30pm.
We have an exciting programme planned, including music from the sixteenth century to the present day. One of the big highlights will be Steve Marshall’s Scroobious Songs, sung by Portia Kitcher. These wonderfully entertaining settings of Edward Lear’s nonsense poems are sure to bring a smile to everyone’s faces.
We are also performing a selection of pieces on low recorders, offering a wonderfully lush and sonorous tone quality. Once you’ve heard this sound you will undoubtedly want to hear more!
Tickets are £8 for adults and £4 for children and are available to buy online from www.helenhooker.co.uk/shop/tvro . They are also available from Anne Helmore by telephoning 0118 934 1793 or on the door.
We’re working hard to prepare for our 2018 concert. Full details will be published here soon but the date for your diary is Sunday 24th June at St. Pirans School in Maidenhead. Check back soon for more information!
